Provider Requirements

Do I need to have previous aesthetic experience?
Skin Clique does not require medical aesthetics experience or prior aesthetics training before applying. We value evidence-based education and believe we have set the gold standard for education in aesthetic medicine. All providers will complete on-boarding education prior to hands-on training which includes a mix of both didactic training and an in-person, hands-on training event that provides five times the industry standard in clinical education.
I have a full time job, can I still work with Skin Clique?
We strive to make practicing medicine a joyful experience for you, and we are committed to accommodating your schedule. We have found that it takes 10-20 hours per week to grow a thriving patient panel. Many of our most successful providers are able to practice with Skin Clique while maintaining their full-time employment.
Is this a W-2 or 1099 position? Are taxes taken out?
When you work with Skin Clique on a 1099 basis, we do not take taxes out. We highly recommend seeking guidance from a tax professional who can provide expert advice tailored to your individual needs.
Is a DEA required?
No! You are NOT required to have an active DEA, you will NOT be prescribing controlled substances in this role.
Is BLS a requirement? Will my CPR certification be accepted?
To train and practice as a Skin Clique provider, BLS (or ACLS) certification is a must! We regretfully cannot accept general CPR/AED training. BLS offers a more comprehensive course that goes beyond basic skills, making it essential for our providers. This is particularly important considering the autonomous and home-based nature of Skin Clique practice. As part of our commitment to safety, we equip our providers with a bag-mask ventilation apparatus and epinephrine, two life-saving techniques not covered in basic CPR/AED courses.
Is malpractice insurance covered?
We cover your malpractice insurance with a generous limit of $1,000,000/$3,000,000, ensuring you are fully protected.
Are collaborating physicians provided?
Every state has its own unique requirements and regulations when it comes to supervising and collaborating with a physician. At Skin Clique, we not only connect you with a qualified collaborating physician, but we also provide all the necessary paperwork and support to ensure that your practice is fully covered in your state of licensure.

About Our Training

Do you provide training?
Yes! At Skin Clique, we have set the gold standard for what education in aesthetic medicine should be for all providers. Our team of expert clinicians have carefully crafted an onboarding and 90-day learning journey to provide you with the best evidence-based education, hands on training with 5x more injection experience than industry standard and continued clinical and non-clinical education once you have joined Skin Clique. Training attendance is required within 90 days of signing your contract. There is a cost associated with training, please see the question below regarding training investment.
What is the investment for training? When am I expected to pay this fee?
The training investment is $3,000. To secure your spot in a training class, please do so within 2 weeks of signing your contract, as spots are limited. You can secure your spot by paying the full amount or by placing a $500 deposit, with the remaining $2,500 collected 2 weeks prior to your in-person training. Third-party financing options are available for eligible enrollees to break the fee into payments.
Where is training held?
While the majority of your training and education is self-paced and virtual, you will be required to travel to an in-person session where you will practice hands-on injecting with live models. The in-person training is held in limited locations across the US. Make sure to ask about the next upcoming training session during your interview!
Is filler training included?
We believe in providing you with a solid foundation in tox injections and a deep understanding of facial anatomy before delving into filler training. Our advanced filler training courses are offered through application to our tox injectors after a minimum of 75 neurotoxin patients have been injected. We recognize that each provider learns at their own pace, which is why our clinical team is dedicated to supporting you as you progress to more advanced training areas. If you are already well-versed in the art of injecting filler, there is a separate process to incorporate filler into your range of services sooner.
Does Skin Clique offer any CME credits for training?
Yes! You are eligible to receive CME credits upon completion of training. We are thrilled to announce that the neuromodulator course has recently been approved to provide 3.0 CME credits.
Does Skin Clique have an EMR system?
Absolutely! As a Skin Clique Provider, you are granted access to our cutting-edge EMR system. You will receive immediate training on our user-friendly platform, allowing you to dive right into mastering its functionalities. This is your hub for scheduling appointments, managing follow-up visits, securely signing consent forms, and capturing remarkable before and after photos and communicating with patients. Working with Patients

How many patients on average do your providers see each week?
As botulinum toxin injections are a medical procedure, we have a minimum requirement each month for providers to maintain clinical skills and ensure patient safety is at the forefront of treatment. However, we understand that every provider has different goals. Some aim to see 2 patients a week, while others treat over 20 patients a week. Our mission is to support and guide you towards achieving your individual goals as a Skin Clique provider.
Am I responsible for getting my own patients?
We are thrilled to have you cultivate a Skin Clique patient panel in your community, where your positive influence can truly shine. Providers utilize their professional and personal networks to grow a robust patient panel. Our learning platform also offers a wealth of educational resources to enhance your social media and marketing efforts. Furthermore, we strive to simplify patient treatment requests through our website and connect them with local providers, like yourself, who can best meet their needs.
How do most providers grow a patient panel?
Our research has shown that employing a mix of social media visibility, partnering with local businesses, hosting events, and relying on word of mouth is the most effective strategy for expanding a patient panel. It's important to note that every healthcare provider will have their own unique tactics and experience growth in varying ways within their community. We highly encourage you to connect with other Skin Clique providers to exchange successful tactics and insights!
Am I able to see patients during the evenings or on weekends?
Regain full control of your schedule and autonomy. There are no rigid time constraints for patient appointments. Our providers have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or early mornings – whatever suits their individual schedules. Choose what works best for you and take charge of your time!
Am I able to inject friends and family?
Your loved ones play a vital role in building a patient panel through word of mouth. Who better to be your raving fan than the friends and family who know you best? As a note- while we do not currently provide discounts specifically for friends and family, we encourage them to come together and unlock event pricing.
How much does tox cost for patients in my local area?
We have set a minimum price per unit for our tox treatments, our floor pricing of tox is $13 per unit. We recognize the importance of fair pricing in building trust, and our ultimate goal is for patients to truly value the exceptional services we provide.
Am I responsible for buying equipment and products?
We provide all supplies and products needed to practice! Once you've paid your initial training fee, there are no extra costs for products you would need to treat your patients! We not only provide you with a convenient travel bag and top-notch equipment, but we also take care of shipping products directly to your doorstep. And when your patients place orders for any skincare products through you, we handle the shipping process through our trusted channels. No need to worry about stocking up on inventory either!
When and how is patient payment collected?
Our patients are kindly requested to settle the payment for their treatment at the conclusion of their service. However, we are delighted to offer Cherry financing options, allowing them to conveniently split the payment into manageable installments. To streamline the process, you can conveniently collect the full payment through our secure EMR system. At this time, we do not accept insurance coverage for treatments.
Am I responsible for rebooking my patients?
Yes! In fact, it's encouraged! We want our patients to become loyal regulars. Rebooking patients plays a vital role in providing full value to Skin Clique patients so they achieve beautiful results consistently, it also is critical to maintaining a flourishing patient panel. At the end of each service, you will have the opportunity to rebook your patient for their follow-up appointments, guaranteeing that both you and the patient stay on track with their treatments and progress.
Am I able to do virtual skin consultations?
Absolutely! Although in-person skin consultations are restricted to your state of practice, we highly recommend expanding your services to include virtual skin consultations for patients nationwide! You have the incredible opportunity to connect with patients from all 50 states, and we are here to handle the seamless shipping of their carefully selected products! Can I practice outside of my community?
We highly encourage establishing a robust patient network within your local and neighboring community, but you are able to extend your exceptional care to patients across your entire state of practice!
Is there a noncompete policy?
Noncompete agreements are quite common in the aesthetics industry. At Skin Clique, we kindly request that if you decide to part ways with us, you refrain from providing concierge aesthetic services for a period of 18 months after leaving our establishment. We are committed to safeguarding our innovative business model. It is important to note that our non-compete does not limit you from any brick-and-mortar practice.
Are there other providers near me that I can collab with? How do I stay connected with them?
Our network of providers spans across 42 states, offering you a wide range of options to collaborate with local providers and organize joint events. For providers in emerging Skin Clique areas, we highly recommend staying connected through our communication platform. We value the strong bond between our providers and encourage them to maintain a strong connection! In addition, we make sure to keep you connected and informed through our informative newsletters and engaging monthly virtual meetings, podcasts and optional weekly clinical office hours.
What advanced procedures are offered?
All providers will begin by offering neuromodulator injections, GLP-1, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and skincare consultations. As providers gain experience, they will have the opportunity to expand their services. Dermal filler and biostimulator training can be added after treating 75 neuromodulator patients. Additional training on services like Microneedling and Hyperhidrosis injections are aslo available.
What are the patient requirements expected from me?
As part of our commitment to patient safety, Skin Clique has a clinical activity requirement in place to help providers maintain their hands-on skills. After six months of active status, providers are expected to see at least one tox patient per month to remain clinically active. If no clinical activity is recorded for 30 consecutive days, a notification is sent to prompt re-engagement. If no activity is produced within 30 days of that notification, a $249/month platform fee is applied to maintain access to our EMR, clinical meetings, and virtual education. In some cases, extended inactivity may require re-attendance at a hands-on training session—or could result in contract termination.
